Hello! I’m Morne, the owner of Cheetah and I love travelling.

Excursions, tours, safaris, backpacking and exploring new places are so much fun and something we love doing here at Cheetah. We saw a real need for quality and affordable short excursions in the North; such a diverse and culturally rich area of Namibia. That is why we opened Cheetah Backpackers and Safaris in 2009.

If you would like to learn more about the culture and traditions of Namibia then we are the company for you. We cater for international and local tourists alike and offer a wide variety of educational, cultural and traditional tours and safaris. Be sure to check out our immensely popular Sundowner Extravaganza. And no trip to Namibia is complete without visiting the magnificent Etosha National Park.

School field trips are the highlight of any child’s school career and we have put together some worthwhile safaris for our students. Learning really can be fun.

We also saw a need for great accommodation and so Cheetah Backpackers opened its doors to the public in August 2012, offering affordable accommodation. We offer tented, dormitory, single and double rooms in a tranquil housing suburb of Ongwediva. Our accommodation is a casual ten minute walk from Bennies Entertainment Park, Maroela Mall and Medi City Park.
